My name is Diana Hoffman. I’m a registered nurse providing school health services to the student and staff of Whitewater Unified School District through a contract with Fort HealthCare. I’ve been an employee with Fort HealthCare for over 30 years, with the last 22 years working in the field of school nursing. I graduated from UW- Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 1983 and I received my National Certification in School Nursing in 2000. I find working in the field of school health services to be very rewarding. My philosophy in school nursing is summoned up well by a quote from former Surgeon General Jocelyn Elders who stated, “You cannot educate a child who is not healthy and you cannot keep a child healthy who is not educated”. I strive to provide services to students to keep them healthy and in school where they can be educated.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ken and son, Kyle. I also enjoy biking, running, swimming, taking enrichment classes, reading and traveling.
I'm the primary RN for students attending Lincoln, Washington, and Lakeview Elementary Schools, as well as the High school. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s health, please feel free to contact me.
