4K and New-to-the-District Kindergarten Students

Online Registration is open! Online Registration is required for all families, including both new and returning students.

For families with students currently attending WUSD (includes 4K students attending the UWW Children's Center), complete the Annual Update in the Parent Portal and make sure to add your student to the 'Student' section, if not already there.

Step 2: Attend our welcome event

Join us for our 4K and New-to-the-district Kindergarten Resources and Registration Support Day!

  • Receive a welcome bag

  • Get support with registration

  • Explore school and community resources

  • Participate in giveaways

  • Meet your principal

If your child is entering Kindergarten next year but is attending WUSD right now, you do not need to attend the welcome event.

When: Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Where: Whitewater High School LMC (534 S Elizabeth St. Whitewater, WI 53190)

Frequently Asked Questions

As part of the online enrollment process, families will be required to upload the following forms:

  • Proof of age: Original birth certificate or other acceptable proof of age including previously verified school records, an adoption record, or a religious, hospital, or physician's certificate showing date of birth

  • Immunization Records

  • Proof of residency (recent utility bill, bank statement, mortgage or lease showing your current address)

4K REGISTRATION REMINDERS: 

  • A child must be 4 years of age by September 1, 2025. 

  • WUSD 4K AM and PM preference will be considered. 

    • AM Section: 8:00am-10:45am

    • PM Section: 12:15pm-3:00pm

  • Original birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency should be submitted online or brought in on registration day. 

  • $10.00 Materials Fee will be available to pay online in August 2025. A notification will be sent to the families when the fees are able to be paid.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION REMINDERS: 

  • A child must be 5 years old by September 1, 2025. 

  • Original birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency should be submitted online or brought in on registration day.  

  • $20.00 Materials Fee will be be available to pay online in August 2025. A notification will be sent to the families when the fees are able to be paid.
