Dear WUSD Families and Community,

On Tuesday, a majority of voters approved the $30 million capital referendum that was on the ballot for Whitewater Unified School District.

This result will allow the WUSD School Board and administration to take another step toward investing in our infrastructure with projects ranging from upgrading mechanical systems in our schools to installing safer pick-up and drop-off areas at WMS and Lincoln Elementary and bolstering Career and Technical Education facilities and programs at WHS, among others.

I want to extend a sincere appreciation to everyone who attended any of over 40 information meetings and reached out directly to ask questions and provide feedback in the months leading to election day. Your input is valuable and will help guide WUSD as it moves forward with projects that will reshape our schools and provide more resources for students.

Once again, thank you for the support that you have shown for our schools and students. Your continued investments will enable us to maintain an exceptional educational experience at WUSD for generations to come.

Sincerely,

Dr. Caroline Pate-Hefty

Superintendent
