The Whitewater Chamber is hosting One Sweet Summer Weekend the first weekend of August (this is replacing Maxwell Street Days). As part of this weekend of fun we are inviting local kids to embrace their inner entrepreneur and set up sweets stands along Main Street on Saturday, August 5th from 10am-12noon (or longer if they want). Imagine a street lined with happy kids showcasing their talents and entrepreneurial spirit! We will be hosting a booth decorating contest as well with great prizes. WUSD Summer School Playhouse's production of "Finding Nemo Jr." opens this week in the WHS Auditorium. $10 Adults & $7 Students, call the box office for tickets: 262-472-8178
The students are excited to perform for the public on:
- Thursday, June 29 & Friday, June 30 at 7 pm
- Saturday, July 1 at 2 pm and 7 pm
The cast and crew have had only 4 weeks to prepare for this live performance, but rest assured—they are ready! They have been busy building the set, memorizing lines and songs, and learning choreography. Come see this incredibly talented crew for yourself!

If you are having issues with your update, come to our Registration Help Session TONIGHT from 4:00 to 7:00pm at our district office. There will be devices available to use for the update and staff available to answer your questions.
The athletics office secretary will also be there to assist middle and high school families with registering online for athletics.

Wow! 🤩 WHS was recognized for its outstanding production of “Beauty and the Beast” with a 2023 Jerry Award in three categories! Students were recognized for Outstanding Lead Performer, Spirit Award, and Outstanding Costume Design.
The Jerry Awards, one of Wisconsin’s High School Musical Awards Programs, encourages, recognizes, and honors excellence in high school musical theater.
The 2023 Jerry Awards Show will be held Sunday, June 11. Congratulations to our amazing theater students!
