On Wednesday, November 6th, a group of Junior and Senior students had the enriching opportunity to visit the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater during the Bilingual Campus Visit Day. Accompanied by multilingual teachers, Silvana del Val and Simone McKinney, students explored their pathways into higher education. With the support of knowledgeable and engaging undergraduate guides, students learned about the multiple options available to them, all delivered in English and in their mother tongue. The experience included a brief presentation by an admissions counselor, followed by an informative walking tour of the campus and crowned by a luscious lunch in the top-notch eating facilities of the university. At the end of the visit, students agreed it had been a valuable experience which they truly appreciated.
We are excited to continue fostering these opportunities for our students. Together, we can help them envision a bright future in higher education!
