The Whippet Swimmers competed in their last dual meet against Jefferson/Cambridge Tuesday night, October 18!
Here are some of our favorite races of the night:
āThe Bazeley sisters took 1st (Makayla with a time of 2:08.42) and 2nd (Brooke with a best time of 2:16.96) in the 200 Freestyle. Atreya Wilson also had an impressive 200 Freestyle by breaking the 3-minute mark!
āIn the 200 IM, Charlotte Hajewski had an impressive finish and continues to drop time by going a 2:49.35.
āIn the 50 Freestyle, all the Whippet athletes went a best time. These athletes include Angela Hudec (44.95), Georgia Esch (38.24), Lucy Davis (36.19), Josie Treder (30.43), and Grace Foucault (26.06 - this improves her Top 10 time at #8).
āMakayla Bazeley continues to swim an impressive 100 Butterfly by swimming a best time of 1:01.21.
āIn the 100 Freestyle all the Whippet athletes went a best time. These swimmers include Andrea Alcala, Michelle Abarca, Karime Velazquez, and Brooke Bazeley with an impressive time of 1:01.28!
āEmerson Dunham and Lucy Davis competed in the 500 Freestyle. Emerson continues to drop time by going a 6:13.43. While she was nervous for the race, Lucy Davis took on the challenge of swimming the 500 for the first time and ended up loving it!
āJosie Treder broke a personal swim goal of swimming the 100 Breaststroke under 1:26.00. She ended her last dual meet with a time of 1:25.05!
