A few ADELANTE updates! ADELANTE members volunteered their time this past weekend for Children's Day. Members played with kids and helped adults all over to make sure things ran smoothly. I am super proud of our WMS kids, because students truly were excited to be there helping and seeing younger WUSD smile and have fun. Students played loteria (mexican bingo) with kids, served ice cream, colored with kids and more! All their interactions were so genuine and truly made me proud to see a glimpse of how students understand the importance of community, empathy, respect and education! Attached are a few pictures from this weekend!
